Back home from a mellow day at work. Time to get my Franzia on. Don’t hate, I just have a thing for alcohol and 90 degree angles…
Flipping between The Hangover and Dario Argento’s Mother of Tears while I lay on the couch about to fall asleep. If this doesn’t tell you how weird I am, I don’t know what will.
Well… got a little bit done. Sadly didn’t accomplish much of my to-do list, but such is the beauty of being young. Nothing of dire necessity.
T’was a beautiful day outside. Enjoyed it kicking a soccer ball around with Todd. Then went to Tin Roof. He knew a guy who was singing there tonight. Usually their live bands aren’t anything special, but this guy had a great voice…a little country, but definitely talented. It was a shame he was hammered and sometimes forgot words to the songs because he was quite enjoyable to watch.
Regrettably, but not surprisingly afterward got some fast food. Hardees. So much for the ‘summer six pack’ goal. Haha.
Well, going to find a DVD and head to sleep.
So much for only sleeping in ‘a little bit’. I’ve yet to get my poor sleeping habits under control. Eh, I guess I can still get something done…
Totally watching There Will Be Blood in bed. Just saying. Epic.
Had one of those awesome shifts where everything fell into place at work; polite people, steady seating, and great tips. Most definitely a bonus since I spent all my cash this weekend at Pride.
After work Jarrod came over and we smoked a bowl while he played COD. I was really feeling some old school Taking Back Sunday and I mixed that playlist with some MGMT. Quite the mellow evening in, completed with tater tot cravings satisfied with help from Sonic.
I’ve got all day off tomorrow and I’d really like to run some errands. Let’s hope for productivity.
If vampires weren’t so modernly cliche I’d think I was one as I sit on the couch in the dark. I guess I’ll blame it on the rain for waking me up (albeit I don’t have an excuse for every other night that I’m awake for hours in the blackness).
Not sure what I want out of this blog yet. Til that revelation occurs I guess it’ll be my late night time filler, as I pray to the gods of slumber to let me succumb to dreams in my bed.
